Adrian Bartha

Managing Partner

Mr. Bartha was most recently an Associate at OPTrust Private Markets Group, a $5 billion global private equity and infrastructure investor established in 2006.  As one of 14 investment professionals, Mr. Bartha had various roles relating to private equity and renewable energy investments in North America and acted in a Board capacity for a $200 million energy company headquartered in Toronto.  Prior to OPTrust, Mr. Bartha had various roles with McKinsey & Company and McKinsey Global Institute in Boston and San Francisco.  At McKinsey, he participated in various engagements relating to private equity, growth strategy, and organizational design, across various sectors including consumer goods, energy, healthcare, and education.  He also conducted research for the McKinsey report Enhancing Canada’s Global Competitiveness.  Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Bartha held positions at TD Securities, a start-up digital media company and operated a franchise restaurant for three years during university.  He graduated summa cum laude from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Commerce and completed level II of the CFA program.  He resides in Toronto and enjoys playing guitar, biking, and non-fiction books on business and economic history.

 

Josh LeBrun

Managing Partner

Mr. LeBrun was most recently an Associate at OPTrust Private Markets Group, a $5 billion global private equity and infrastructure investor established in 2006.  As one of 14 investment professionals, Mr. LeBrun had various roles relating to the transaction execution and investment monitoring of private equity, distressed/turnaround and transportation infrastructure investments in North America, including the structuring of a $2.3 billion portfolio of debt securities, the take private of a $100 million containerized shipping company and the acquisition of a large infrastructure development company.  Prior to OPTrust, Mr. LeBrun was an investment banking analyst in the Financial Restructuring Group of Houlihan Lokey Investment Bank, the world’s largest restructuring advisor, where he participated in various engagements including restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions.  Mr. LeBrun is currently the Director of Finance for Redseven, a charity supporting global primary education, and was previously on the Youth Advisory Board for Prostate Cancer Canada.  He graduated with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario where he was the President of the Entrepreneurship Club.  Mr. LeBrun holds the CSC, Series 7 and Series 63 exam designations and resides in Toronto where he enjoys all sports including golf and hockey.
